Murrelektronik is a German company which manufactures electronic components for decentralised automation and direct connection technology. They offer a variety of field-bus systems, connectors and interfaces. Murrelektronik is headquartered in Oppenweiler.
In 2016 Murrelektronik expanded their product line with their new monitoring system Mico Pro. As it is modularised to the maximum, the system can be easily adapted to suit their specific applications. In order to enable their customers to configure their individual Mico Pro station, Murrelektronik uses our 3D product configurator CONFIGON.
Simply Drag & Drop! Every single module gets checked for plausibility and can be labelled for each channel. The customer receives the finished Mico Pro Station pre-fabricated. That means parameters such as the current value are already adjusted.
CONFIGON saves time and reduces workload. No doubt that CONFIGON is a massive sales argument for Murrelektronik.
- During planning: Finished elements can be imported and no longer have to be configured using a catalogue and CAD system.
- During delivery: Customers receive a complete station as a "set" that replaces many work steps. E.g. the unpacking of each individual pane, sorting, arranging, current value programming as well as the creation of inscription labels and their application.
Murrelektronik places great value on offering greatest possible user-friendliness, without any technical hurdles. In doing so, the configurator works with the latest browsers without any further installation. CONFIGON is HTML5 based so all interactive functions also work on smartphones and tablets. In addition, customers can save, change or reopen their configuration until their final order.
