The aim
ANKER Solutions offers modular mounting solutions for the point of sale. With a flexible modular system, poles, arms, VESA mounting plates, adapters, extensions and other components can be combined individually.
The existing configurator system already allowed the assembly of individual components but began to reach its limits as the number of variants grew. Usability, flexibility and visual presentation needed significant improvement. The aim was a modern solution that makes complex assembly options easy to understand, guides resellers, system integrators and end users intuitively through the configuration, and accelerates internal processes in sales and engineering.
Particularly important was a future-proof platform that not only replaces the existing system but develops it qualitatively further: faster, more visual, more scalable and easier to maintain.
The solution
ANKER relies on Configon CORE as a web-based platform for product configuration and 3D visualisation. Users are guided step by step through the configuration of the modular POS mounting solutions and can adjust their assembly directly in the browser.
Configuration is carried out intuitively via clearly structured workflows and drag-and-drop functionality. This makes the configurator suitable for both experienced professionals and less technically minded users. While external users are presented with a guided, simplified interface, internal sales staff can work with advanced features.
A special focus is placed on real-time 3D visualisation. Complete pole configurations are shown visually so that components, heights, orientations and fixings can be checked directly. Errors are identified early, queries are reduced and planning certainty is increased.
On completion of a configuration, Configon CORE automatically generates all relevant documentation – including project documents as PDFs, detailed parts lists, preview images and export data for quotation requests. This reduces manual tasks and noticeably eases the workload for sales and engineering.
