Thanks to seamless integration with all interfaces such as ELBRIDGE, CRM and Crossbase's PIM, customers can benefit from even more efficient and user-friendly enclosure configuration.
The Spelsberg configurator made by CONFIGON has been enabling customers to configure their own GEOS enclosure system intuitively and error-free via drag & drop in the browser for some time now. The seamless integration of the Crossbase PIM system was an essential part of the configurator right from the start.
A major benefit of the integration is the automatic transfer and updating of data in the configurator. Changes to the product information in the PIM system are automatically updated in the configurator. This not only helps to improve the efficiency of the configuration process, but also to optimise the customer experience.
For Spelsberg, the integration of the PIM and other interfaces reduces the work involved in product and data maintenance. The configurator does not require any separate maintenance; all features and technical data are always up to date.
For example, the product data of junction boxes with different entries for terminals can be clearly structured in the Crossbase PIM. It enables the management of logistics data such as EAN codes, weights, dimensions and packaging quantities. Drawings, assembly images, product photos etc. can also be managed centrally and additional image formats can be generated automatically.
The Spelsberg configurator made by CONFIGON already offers a variety of functions that support the customer in customising the enclosure configuration. These include, for example
- a configuration wizard for user support,
- the collision and plausibility check
- and the option of configuration via drag & drop.
Customers can save and manage their configured products in the customer portal or order them directly via ELBRIDGE. All required data can be exported at the click of a mouse. This speeds up the planning, quotation and production process for Spelsberg.
